Columbia Young Professionals

In June, Palmetto GBA hosted an official Launch Party for the Columbia Young Professionals (CYP). The purpose of the Columbia Young Professionals is to create advancement opportunities for its constituency. The members are charged with “giving back” and being active in the community in which they live. The goal of CYP is to educate, empower, and enlighten the membership and the overall community.

Since its inception, CYP has hosted a Membership Mixer, Professional Power Hour: Networking for Professional Advancement, Paradise: A Labor Day Luau, Members Only Mixer, and Hungry For Success: A Discussion of Dining Etiquette for Young Professionals. “CYP young professionals” are progressive individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 who are active members of their communities who are concerned with economic empowerment and professional development.

Membership is $35 per year. Each member receives a personalized membership card and is invited to participate in member-only events.
