Lexington 5 J.O.B.S. Program
In the summer of 2007, the Columbia Urban League and the School District 5 of Lexington and Richland Counties partnered to create the Lexington 5 J.O.B.S program. Operated in the Columbiana Ridge apartment complex, the program is designed to improve academic success and reduce violence among 10-19 year olds.
Seventy-five students participate in the program, funded by the district’s Safe and Drug-Free Schools department.
