Violence Prevention Healthy Lifestyles Camp
The Violence Prevention Healthy Lifestyle Camp was designed to provide a two weeks day camp for 10-13 year olds on pre-employment and healthy lifestyle activities. Students receive services in the following areas: enhancement of self-esteem, decision making skills, and good communication skills. Other areas included: abstinence, anatomy and physiology of males and females, family planning, and education on HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections.

Starting May 31st and ending July 29th, the series of two-week sessions were held at nine sites in the Greater Columbia area including, Bethel Bishop Chappelle Apartments, the Cecil Tillis Family Life Center, Martin Luther King Park, Columbiana Ridge Center, and the Katheryn M.
